The article first talks about the cultural influences to blues. It talks about the African influences from Africa and when they we're slaves for Europeans. It then talks about blues becoming popularized in 1911-1914. The artical also talks about being popularized again in the 60s with Blues Rock. It talk about what difines blues through sond, lyrics, and other charecteristics. The intended audience is any student or even teachers. This article relates to my research by providing the backround of blues, by using primary sources.
