Annotation #10

Davis, Francis. The History of the Blues: The Roots, The Music, The People. 2nd ed. Mojo Working Productions, 2003. Print.

Francis Davis talks about the blues from the Mississippi Delta to right after WWII. It talks about influencing Jazz Rock & Roll. The book also talks about famous musicians. Francis Davis is an American author and journalist who taught Jazz and Blues courses and he University of Pennsylvania. The intended audience is most likely students or teachers. This helps with my research by talking about the Blues back-round and influence on Rock & Roll.
